Hand embroidered antique textiles of various minorities
The below is a selection of some of our antique textiles. All are hand done and from 30-250yrs old. They are fast disappearing as the older ladies eyes are not good enough for the detail and the younger generation is not even interested in learning how to stitch (cell phone ring tones are in). Our selection is from mainly Miao, Zhuang, Yi, Naxi, some Han and other Chinese ethnic groups. We collect most of these textiles in Southeast China from a several province area. It is still possible to take customers there to collect for themselves. All pieces can be framed on request.
